Vinyasa Yoga
Vinyasa Yoga at Counting Stars is a beautiful class focused on flow, moving from one pose to the next. The transitions of the poses are synchonised with breath. Vinyasa can be a faster paced class, working on strength, stability and balance within your body. This class is suitable for beginner to experienced yoga students.

Satsang Circle
An open invitation to join a group of likeminded people who seek a community. Sat Sang is a Sanskrit word meaning Sat – Truth, Sang – Company. The company of truth. A fun get together with a different focus each circle, drinking tea and discussing basic yoga philosophy or open questions to journal and create thought and future goals. The circle also includes meditation and a breathing practice.

Teenage Wellness Workshop
The Counting Stars Teenage Wellness workshop is a 5 week program running for 1.5 hours each week. Focusing on teaching students the basics of yoga, each week a new yoga practice will be experienced (Hatha, Vinyasa, Restorative, Nidra and Yin) as well a different breathing techniques and meditations. This program is aimed at teaching students the skills of how to self sooth and use self care practices whilst experiencing and acknowledging different emotions. Helping them to find their own peace whilst learning different techniques for dealing with stresses and anxieties, that all humans experience throughout life. Following the practice will be a 30 minute art session. The aim is to give students ways to find gratitude in everyday life, how to switch off and give themselves time to rest. Following the basics of yoga philosophy, but taught in a easy to understand way that applies to their own lives now and into the future.

Introduction to Ayurveda
Ayurveda is an ancient practice focused on the individual student and their digestion system. This workshop provides a introductory understanding of the practice and how you may be able to implement it into your everyday life. Perfect for students who seek a taster for the understanding of Ayurveda. Discussed will be ways of implementing small changes into your life, learning to recognise how your individual self responds to life around you and how you digest it. Ideal for women going through changes of life, experiencing hormonal shifts, and learning ways to deal with life stressors. Perfect for all students who want to feel well in their body mind and spirit.

Introduction to Yoga Workshop
The Counting Stars Introduction to Yoga Workshop is a 5 week program running for 1.5 hours each week. This workshop allows the student to experience a different yoga style and to find confidence in their own yoga practice. Each week a new yoga practice will be experienced (Hatha, Vinyasa, Restorative, Nidra and Yin) as well a different breathing techniques and meditations. Following the practice students are welcome to stay for a 30 minute Sat Sang circle with morning tea included. The aim of this workshop is to give new students the confidence to join a yoga class with the basic understanding of different yoga styles and basic yoga philosophy. If you are unsure about yoga or what style you may like, this workshop is perfect for you to give them all a go in a fun, safe and encouraging environment.

Perfect for students who want to focus on a specific practice, who may have a injury or who like the one on one attention from their yoga teacher! All yoga styles can be accommodated.
